Ieuan Berry is a Welsh photographer and filmmaker who’s been capturing real, meaningful moments for over a decade. His work ranges from documenting the raw and emotional to covering major global events, always with a strong sense of story and authenticity.

Over the years, he’s worked with some big names, including the BBC, BBC News, The Times, Wales Online, The Metro, South Wales Argus, and Switzerland’s Le Matin. His photos have also appeared on platforms like Euronews, MSN’s Photo of the Day, and the French magazine NouvelObs. Clients have included Voice, LRA, Attitude, GOV.UK, MPF, the GREAT Campaign, Pink News, and plenty more.

A standout moment in his career came when he was appointed as the world’s first official NATO social media photographer, a role set up by the communications team at 10 Downing Street. It marked the first time a NATO summit was captured and shared specifically for social media, paving the way for how governments use photography online today.

Ieuan’s not just about politics and press, though. He’s worked alongside celebrated photographers like Martin Parr on new BBC idents and curated a gallery show for the legendary David Hurn. For a time, he also served as Gallery Director at Ffoto Newport, helping bring thought-provoking photography to local audiences.

Though he’s travelled widely with his camera, Ieuan is proudly based in Wales. His style is honest, unfiltered, and always focused on people, whether he’s working on a global commission or a personal project. If there’s a story worth telling, chances are he’s already planning how to shoot it.
